Oct.1985–Sep.1989 Research and Doctor Degree at the Institute for Internal Combustion Engines and Thermodynamics, Graz University of Technology. Doctor Degree with excellent results.

Oct.1989–Jan.1995 R&D Engineer at Steyr-Daimler-Puch Vehicle GmbH in Graz.

1995 - now One of founding members of the company Uniart Culture and Media Austria, Beijing Master International Culture Development Co. Ltd., which have been acting as one of the leading companies in the fields of organizing music and cultural events, shows, TV projects, exhibitions, music educational activities, international culture exchanges etc., between Europe and China.

Dr. Jian Wang has written 5 books, which were published in Austria and Germany.

Since 1997, Dr. Jian Wang has been appointed as the consultant of Henan Provincial Tourism.

Since 2013, Dr. Jian Wang has been acting as the international adviser to the Shanghai Opera House.

Dr. Jian Wang serves as Secretary-General in the Organization for Promoting Austrian and Chinese Relations.

Dr. Jian WANG received the "Gold Medal of the Republic" by the Austrian Federal President in 2007.

Dr. Jian WANG received the "Gold Medal of the City Vienna" by Mayor Dr. Michael Ludwig in 2022.
